I am Karolina Nowak, a Polish artist who holds a Master's degree in set and costume design from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. In addition to my education in Krakow, I have had the privilege of studying at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan and Aalto University in Helsinki, Finland. My artistic journey has fueled my passion for exploring the diverse realms of the art world through set design, costume design, and various other forms of creative expression.
Among my accomplishments, I take pride in several significant milestones in my artistic career. Notable among these achievements are:
- 2024 working as the assistant to artist giuseppe lo schiavo
- 2023/2024 working as the assistant to creative director cristian taraborrelli
- 2023 Internship at the stage design workshops of Teatro dell'Opera in Rome
- 2023 Collaboration with renowned Polish theater director Agata Duda-Gracz
- 2021/2023 Recipient of a scholarship from the Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow
- 2022 Participated in a study exchange program at Aalto University in Finland
- 2021/2022 Engaged in a study exchange at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, Italy
- 2021 Received an honorable mention in the international Vectorworks Design Scholarship competition for the scenic interpretation of Henrik Ibsen's play "ghosts"
- 2016 - 2018 Awarded the Prime Minister's Council Scholarship
