“Breathing” is a costume piece representing body deformations and illness. It imitates a foreign object that lays on the actor’s body and limits their movement, slowly taking away their senses and humanity. It is meant to cause a strong reaction in the viewer, fear and disgust.
The costume was entirely made from pieces of melted plastic.
