In 2021, I created this stage design with my art partner, Alicja Kolińska, for a young theatre director and a student of the AST Academy, Błażej Biegasiewicz. We focused on the turbulent relationship between Medea, her husband Jason and their sons. Even though Jason never appeared on the stage, his eyes were always there, watching and controlling. A set of large, realistic eyeballs floated above the actors during the whole performance only to be taken down and pierced by Medea at the end.
The performance took place at the AST National Academy of Theatre Arts in Krakow, Poland.
