From June 7th to 9th 2024, at the Teatro della Pergola in Florence, took place the first edition of PLANETARIA - Discorsi Con La Terra, a project conceived by Stefano Accorsi and Filippo Gentili and co-produced by Superhumans and the Fondazione Teatro della Toscana.
The intention was to create an experience that allowed people to rethink their relationship with our planet in order to live more constructively and sustainably.
For this festival, I worked as assistant to the set designer Cristian Taraborrelli.

Imaginary Conferences
We offered the audience a unique experience with Sibilla, the artificial intelligence specially created for the occasion by Engineering. Sibilla engaged in real-time dialogue with artists, scientists, and the audience during the three evening performances titled Imaginary Conferences. These performances narrated the story of how, in an imagined future, we solved the environmental problem.
In the morning, the focus was on families with the Kids Lab & Shows section, featuring a mix of scientific and experiential activities, theatrical performances, and shows created by Planetaria in collaboration with RAI KIDS and the University of Milano-Bicocca. In the evening, the stage came alive with theatrical performances blending art and science: the Imaginary Conferences, original theater pieces that engagingly explored issues and solutions related to the climate crisis.
